Hi, I'm Morgan!

I'm a Nashville-based mixed media artist whose work is rooted in layering, collage, texture, and storytelling. I studied Textile Design at the University of Georgia, and after a career spanning design and creative communications, I stepped fully into my studio practice.

The Early Works Project began organically through a commission with a Nashville family and grew from something I started noticing everywhere: children create constantly. Drawings come home from school, paintings pile up on the counter, and doodles fill drawers and folders faster than most families could ever display them. Each one captures a little piece of childhood, but there simply isn't room to keep everything forever.

The Early Works Project grew from that very real dilemma—how do you honor your child's creativity without keeping every piece of paper hidden away in a drawer?

I reimagine a collection of your child's drawings, paintings, doodles, and everyday creations into one custom piece of fine art designed to live in your home. Pulling from their colors, shapes, marks, and imagery—and selectively incorporating pieces of the original artwork—I create something new that preserves the spirit of their creativity and that particular moment in childhood.

 

No two commissions are ever alike—each one is a reflection of the little artist behind it.
